A Filmmaker's Path.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Served in the US Army as a tank driver stationed in Frankfurt, Germany — traveling and living throughout Europe and shaping a lifelong instinct for finding stories in unfamiliar places.
Studied at Schiller International University in Heidelberg, then graduated from Towson University with a BS in Mass Communications and Television Production.
Began his career recording live events, then worked in TV production in the NY/NJ area — including Comcast Originals, Lifetime Studios, and CNBC. Mentored by original Sesame Street director Joost van Rees.
Former president of the Hollywood Historical Society and an active civic board member. Today he owns South Florida Video Productions and creates independent documentary films under the banner of The Video Vagabond.
The mission of The Video Vagabond is to create documentary films that foster curiosity, preserve stories worth remembering, and deepen our understanding of the people, places, and ideas that shape our world.
